Mafia: The Old Country – A Weird Vibe Man, playing this game feels like stepping into something from another era. It's so retro, you gotta wonder why they'd even put it out now. Barely any side quests, super basic gameplay, and zero of those fun extras that hook you in. It's just a straight-shot story from start to finish. Some folks might love that old-school charm, but to me, it seems like the devs were on some weird self-sabotage mission.
On the flip side, the visuals are killer. The map's full of stunning Sicilian Mediterranean scenery – stuff you'd wanna screenshot and frame. The graphics are so rich and moody, this could snag "best of the year" just for looks. Kinda like Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but swap Greece for Sicily. Total eye candy.
The animations deserve a shoutout too. Characters move so smooth and real, that jumping back to other games makes you go, "Yikes, that's stiff." After this, everything else feels dated.
Car physics are a nice surprise – vehicles feel heavy and full of personality. Fans of racing sims or GTA will dig it for sure. But it could've used a bigger map and some everyday side gigs, like ferrying passengers, chasing bad guys, hauling stuff, or tailing someone. Those little details are what make a world pop.
